We’re excited to announce that Shotgun will be renamed ShotGrid on June 7, 2021.
The name ShotGrid suggests connected networks and workflows and embodies both the creativity and productivity facilitated by shot-based work in the creative world and the need for efficiency and production management in media and entertainment (M&E) pipelines. Though Shotgun will have a new name, it will bring the same power to animation, VFX, and games pipelines.
