The Pipeline Awards are back! For the fifth year in a row, we will recognize creative heroes behind the scenes who dedicate their days to making laborious processes better, faster and more enjoyable for studios of all sizes. Whether they use Shotgun or not, we believe that it is important to shine a light on these tools and on the people who build them. This year, we’ve added a third category into the mix: Shotgun Trick Shots!

What We’re Looking For
Pipeline Shotty Awards recognize excellence in pipeline tool development, integration, engineering and usage (whether or not it involves Shotgun). Maybe you have a simple, sophisticated tool that takes menial tasks off artists' plates, or a tool developed to facilitate VR, track the ROI of your projects, or streamline review - the sky’s the limit!

Pipeline Hero Awards recognize individuals who have pushed the field of pipeline forward significantly, both within the Shotgun community and the broader industry. Maybe this person regularly shares best practices on the dev list or forums, contributes to the wider community by speaking at tradeshows or publishing articles on the subject, or has developed tools that have been widely adopted by the industry.
Shotgun Trick Shots recognize individuals who have made use of Shotgun in crazy, outrageous, and unusual ways. This is your chance to showcase the insane and awesome things you’ve done using Shotgun - even if they are relatively useless in production!

Once again, we’ll present the awards at SIGGRAPH and announce the winners right here on the blog.
Looking forward to your nominations!
