It's that time again, everybody—now is when we plan an industry-wide celebration of the best work done in our community throughout the year. This year Shotgun is proud to hand the baton—or pipe—of The Pipeline Awards to The Pipeline Conference, which will take part this July in Washington, DC. Over the years we've loved seeing the awards grow into such a festive occasion, shining a spotlight into this important area of production which can often go unnoticed. In preparation for the confernce, nominations are now officially open. Know any person or technology that fits the descriptions below?
- Tools Award: Given to tools worthy of industry recognition for the benefits they’ve brought to one or more studios.
- Hero Award: Given to somebody who stands out in the industry, improving their own studio and contributing to pipeline technologies in general.
